Maison Zohora
Founder & Design Director
Design is personal. It should feel that way.
Before a space can look right, it has to feel right. That is where most interior design misses the mark. It focuses on the surface before it understands what is underneath.
Who lives here. How they move through the space. What they need a room to do for them at the end of a long day.
Zohora Al Jabbar founded Maison Zohora because she saw a different way to work.
The Story Behind Maison Zohora
A studio built on a different kind of attention.
Growing up with a deep attentiveness to the spaces around her, to how rooms hold people, shape moods, make mornings easier and evenings slower, Zohora developed a sensitivity to interiors that no amount of training alone can teach.
Formal training in design gave her the vocabulary. Years of practice gave her the instinct. Working with clients across London gave her the understanding that what people want, more than anything, is to feel truly at ease in the spaces they inhabit.
Maison Zohora was built on that understanding. A studio where the founder is present in every project. Where the brief is listened to before the moodboard begins. Where beauty is never decorative for its own sake. It always has a reason.
What Zohora Believes
Four commitments that shape every project.
Design should be accessible, not intimidating.
A beautifully considered space does not begin with a six-figure budget. It begins with a clear eye and an honest conversation. Maison Zohora offers a real path from a single consultation to a complete project, because exceptional design guidance should be available to anyone ready for it.
The best spaces are deeply personal.
Zohora does not design spaces that could belong to anyone. She designs spaces that could only belong to you, informed by how you live, what you love, and what you have been meaning to change for years.
Working with a designer should feel like a relief.
Not an expense. Not a project to manage on top of everything else. When you work with Maison Zohora, the thinking is handled. The decisions are guided. The process is as considered as the result.
Every detail is an opportunity.
The texture of a cushion. The angle of a lamp. The way afternoon light falls across a particular wall. These are the things that separate a decorated space from a designed one. Zohora notices all of them.
